Not So Amazing Gets Animated!

The look of Not So Amazing will be changing a bit as the show will now have more of an animated look to it.  The show will still be filmed using live actors, but animation will be added over the video to give the show more of a comic book feel.  We experimented with the new look for a while and took a vote on if we were going to change the look of the show and everyone was behind the decision.  While some of us will miss the live action look of the show, the new style fits the feel of the show more and hopefully fans will agree.  While Series 2 will still be premiering on January 5th of 2013, it will air using the new look.  We will also be re-airing Series 1 of the show using the new look.  This week the pilot and the first episode of series 1 will be airing in the new style and a new episode will be aired every week until the first series has all been shown with the new style.  Check it out and let us know what you think.

Not So Amazing Gets A New Night Scorpion

We'd like to welcome a new addition to the cast, Angelo Spalluto, who has taken over the role of Night Scorpion.  Scheduling conflicts with Patrick MacFarlane, who played the role in series 1 caused us to have to recast the part.  Today was Angelo's first day on the set and he did an amazing job and proved to be a great addition to the cast.

Series 2 of Not So Amazing Begins Filming

Series 2 of Not So Amazing has begun principle photography.  We had a great shoot today at Jester's Playhouse in Northfield, NJ.  The folks at Jester's were a lot of fun to work with and helped us expand the production value of the show by allowing us to film a robbery scene there.  We can't say just yet who the robbers were, for that you'll have to tune in and find out when series 2 airs in January.
Despite not yet having reached the budget required to accomplish everything we'd like to in series 2, we have begun filming and are confident that fans of the show will help us meet our goal and keep the show going and become what it has the potential to achieve.  We are running a campaign through indiegogo.com to help raise the budget and we are offering some great incentives and perks for helping us out.  If you've enjoyed the show and would like to help us continue and expand the scope of the series then please go to: http://www.indiegogo.com/helpnsa

In order to give something back to our viewers who have helped the show become a success we have decided to switch from the b-weekly format and release the final 3 episodes of series 1 weekly.   Now you don't have as long a wait between episodes and can see how the story arc for series 1 wraps up.

There will be a christmas episode that will be released the week of christmas titled, 'A Not So Amazing Christmas Special', and series 2 will follow soon afterwards on the first weekend in January.  But you won't have to wait that long to get your Not So Amazing fix as the DVD will be released soon, we will announce the release date soon.  The DVD will feature high quality versions of the episodes and several bonus features, such as the unrated cut of Monitor Duty.
